Closer than the weekend crowds suggest
For much of northern Chesapeake, Crystal Nails is closer than the salons you queue for at Greenbrier. From Indian River the drive is about ten minutes up Military Highway; from Greenbrier itself, sixteen; from South Norfolk, twelve up the interstate. Chesapeake guests already make the trip as a standing routine, and the route is the same errand corridor you drive anyway.
The salon sits on International Blvd in the Norview area of central Norfolk, with parking directly outside the door. It has been family-owned for more than 25 years, and the owners, Tommy and Jennifer, are still the hands on the floor.
Room for the whole family
We do nails for kids and teens, ages 5 and up, with the same unhurried care given in the next chair. A parent's fill and a child's first manicure fit into one visit, side by side. Polish choices come from a wall of more than 500 colors, Norfolk's largest selection, so nobody settles for close enough.
The services Chesapeake drives up for
Pink and white ombre is the house signature, kept sharp by daily repetition. Dip powder, acrylic sets, and cat-eye gel art hold their finish through the week; pedicures climb from a precise regular service to Onsen mineral soaks and pearl powder when the hour calls for it. Waxing and lash services round out a visit so one trip covers everything.
When to come
Doors open at 9:30, Monday through Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome at any hour we are open; weekdays before about 3 PM are the calmest, and a quick call ahead on busy days means your chair is ready when you park. That is often the difference between a Saturday scramble in Greenbrier and a quiet appointment ten minutes north.
Stack the errands
The drive home passes more than the salon. Norfolk Premium Outlets are 8 minutes from our door on the same Military Hwy corridor, and the Norfolk Botanical Garden is 9 minutes away when a fresh set deserves a quiet hour before the drive back.
